GTX 960 Power Issues? or whats going on.

Petrus

i coppied and edit this from another similar post with almost if not same issue, from 2015 with no help.

please help I have had a Gigabyte G1 Gaming edition 960 (2GB) for a while now, It has never failed me and has worked flawlessly....until 2 years ago that it did. my computer shuts it self down with no warning what so ever. when i powered it but up, the GPU fans and CPU fans switched/spinned once and went off. and when you press  the power button again, The Gigabyte G1 Gaming Edition of the 960 has two six pin power connectors, which are both plugged in and haven't been touched since the day I built my computer. i tried removing 1 of the 3/6 pin connector and it boots and shows and error to plug in the other power connector. and when i switch them around and plug in the 3/6 pin connect into the other connector nothing happenings, i guessing it might be a power issues with the gpu,

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated! @Linus Sebastian @Linus Sebastian Clone @JayzTwoCents

Lol wrong mentions. Either way, Linus isn't the troubleshooting type.

Are you so sure it's the graphics card?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

As @Fasauceome said what makes you sure that it's the GPU? this could be very easily just a PSU issue.
