HELP! Buy "this" refurbish Server?!

Required

https://www.servershop24.de/en/server/hp/dl-series/dl380/gen9/a-120866

I still need a Server for my Project who have:

- 3,5" Drive Bays

- Take my Raid Card for Raid

- PCI-E Slot for USB 3.0 Cards

- CPU for Rendering my Own Map Tiles

- ESXi Compatible maybe Proxmox to

600€ with Tax sound good.

My current HP Server have this CPU: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/compare.html?productIds=37109,82761 (and the CPU from this Server).

I see its a Dual Socket one with one CPU. I dont need 2x.

From AT. :x

ML350 G8 is often even cheaper. Saw one for €150 a while back. Same basic hardware, just more quiet and tower form factor.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Where do you find them for cheaper? I look online and see €1000 price-points on them...

I don't go to the like of refurb centers and eBay. I usually find stuff like that on classifieds, gumtree/craigslist like websites etc.

Another option is build my own one. I have 2 Case, PSU.

https://www.asus.com/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/Z11PA-U12-10G-2S/ Z11PA-U12/10G-2S 440€ exclude Tax.

Pretty nice board. Xeon Scalable (Skylake/Cascade Lake) chips aren't cheap though, and a Xeon Silver 4114 is really nothing better than an E5-2620v4 which fits cheaper and older boards.
