Help! Looking to upgrade my RX580

EvanM

Hello all. I'm looking to upgrade my Radeon rx580 but do not really know what would be an upgrade as I am extremely new to the PC scene. I am a Call of Duty player and am a little sad i am only getting around 75-99 fps on average with medium/low settings. I have a 1080p 144hz monitor and feel as though the 580 isn't cutting it for me. I was thinking of a 2060 super but I'm really not sure. My price point is $300-$400.

Specs

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

Motherboard: Asrock B450M Gaming

RAM: 16gig DDR4 300mhz

PSU: 650w Gold

For $300 I'd nab a 2060 KO, for the $400 range aim for a 2060s or even the occasional cheaper 2070/used 1080 ti

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Do you think the performance of a 2060s would be better than a 5700 or 5700xt?

A bit better than a 5700, a bit worse than an xt

Shoot for the 5700XT. It will handily outperform a 2060 and edge out a 2070 and 1080ti (in most games). You might be able to find a 1080ti used for a better price, but the 1080ti is currently as good as it will ever be. If history repeats itself the 5700XT will only get better from here with AMD's phenomenal track record of continuing to optimize cards well beyond their life cycle.

I went from a rx580 to a rx5700 non xt at 1080p on a 144hz panel and I am very happy with my purchase. I haven't played cod on it but I doubled my framerate in my other games like siege, pub g, tarkov

No cpu mobo or ram atm

2tb wd black gen 4 nvme

2tb seagate hdd

Corsair rm750x
