My first console was the SNES, with the game being Super Mario World... in fact since Cartridges were so expensive, it was the only game I owned.

 

We rented and borrowed, but yeah, we had a lot more games to play when we got our PS1... that and the PC we had anyway  ;)

NES Don't remember the game. Still own all my systems and Computers through the years. I feel so old........ I still have my old windows 95 Micron Still running on the same HDD CMOS and everything just give it a good dusting now and again ;) still fricken love Microsoft Bob :P

If we're counting handheld devices, that would be the GameBoy Pocket, with Batman as first game.

Otherwise, first console in my family was a Sega Megadrive (or Genesis if you're American), with Sonic the Hedgehog.

First console that I owned was a GameCube and I can't remember if I got Rogue Squadron or Smash Bros Melee first...

Good old times :)
