silliest idea ever (laptop heatpipes mod)

Gg_launtis_67

so, i had this tought, if heatpipes work by vapor and they are technically small copper tubes, can i drill holes at each end and make water flow trough it? or it would be a fricking disaster of a project?

pls dont kill me if something like this already exists

well, (depending on the type) heatpipes arn't just smooth tubes on the inside. aside from the more common things like making this leak-proof, it would be introducing a lot of gunk into your waterloop.

also, why go to such extreme lengths for a chip that cannot be overclocked anyway?
