What does Linus mean when he says “powder coated” PSU?

What exactly is a “powder coated” PSU and how do I know if mine is powder coated? ?

 

I have a Corsair RM850x 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular. 

CPU: i7 8700K (5.1 GHz OC). AIO: EVGA CLC 280 280mm. GPU: EVGA XC2 Ultra 2080Ti. PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular. MB: MSI MEG Z390 ACE. RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB (3600 MHz OC). Powder coating is a fancy way to paint metal. Your PSU is powder coated.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

this is powder coating

They can do it to anything metal,The short answer its like paint but a lot stronger and harder coating.
