inaccurate reply's on LTT tweet

Ashleyyyy

so I saw this:

and I just wanna correct everyone replying to it. that menu is not Apple's. all the replies under that tweet are like yes apple bad woohoo, and sorry to tell you but you are all wrong.

move to trash is almost always the third option from the top in a right click menu on a Mac, as seen on my Mac here:

the menu LTT tweeted about is not Apple's, it's there because of a third party app that was running.

Where does this tweet say they are blaming Apple?

I don't think they say it's Apple's menu, as it is now 'Move to Bin'.

This does not make LTT's tweet inaccurate.

This makes the commenters inaccurate.

This thread is rather pointless unless rephrased.

Indifferent.

At the end of the day, what does this change? You're not addressing the people who made the mistake in the first place. Most of the people seeing this thread already know based on the replies.

What I wonder is why this would even matter. I use ctrl + C (or Apples odd looking key + C) for copying, and use the button "del" or "delete" for sending stuff to the trash bin. Even if I'd accidentally click on delete instead of copy, it still wouldn't matter, as there's a confirmation box to prevent accidental deletions. :)

I see, got caught on being misleading and had to change your title

It doesn't seem intentional though. given how quick the OP changed it (and added further detail on request) rather than trying to defend it as many do,  I'd say it's just a case of misinterpretation.     II sometimes post like the OP when I see repeat performances of inanely inaccurate shit posting.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Too bad, too sad. LTT isn't going to delete their tweet because a bunch of people foolishly misinterpreted it.

You seem to have misunderstood me, I agree that it matters that something that seemed wrong was actually not the case, but what I don't think matters is that the two options are so close to each other, as the shortcuts are much more convenient anyways.
