Anyone into kombucha

yeah the bacteria if dried is very leather like, but you have to treat it like leather so it doesnt become stiff.

I always wanted to brew my own, but my GF at the time hated it. So I scratched my head thinking of a hobby to do at home with her and settled with growing magic mushrooms. Growing them was mostly unsuccessful, and the kits were bloody expensive. 
 

Now that I’m single again, I can $30 and make my own Kombucha! I liked it a lot. But I always felt bad spending $5 for 0,5L of fermented tea at the gas station. Like WTF!? Is there anything cheaper than tea?

Yeah, that's the reason I started brewing, it's so expensive and it costs pennies to make (depending on choice of flavoring) per bottle.

Ive had home brewed, but haven't done it myself.
