hi i have an asus crosshair vi hero with no video ports on it ,does this motherboard do video over usb c ,thanks

No you need a discrete graphics card.

Looks like the Type C has no DP-alt mode. No video out from that port.

Keep in mind most Ryzen CPU's have no video out anyways, so you would be dependent on the videocard for display anyways.

 

Some of the newer RTX cards have USB type C video ports on them, if you need those.

i have an Ryzen 5 3400G would it be possible ?,or is there some sort of pcie card with video output like hdmi (not a graphics card) which would allow me to use the on-board  ?
