If you get the commander pro you don't need the node pro, BUT you will STILL need the RGB Fan Hub no matter what this is where the RGB wire from the fan goes into.

Hello, I just wanted to know if I should get the commander pro for my coming Corsair LL fans for the RGB and stuff to work?

How many RGB headers does your mobo have? The commander pro makes setup a little easier, and makes controlling them a little easier.

Corsair LL RGB fans are not a standard 5v connector they need the Corsair RGB Fan controller to make the RGB work then that plugs into a Node Pro or Commander Pro. Which then connects to a USB header on the Mobo.

You need at very least the RGB fan hub this is where the LL fan RGB wire plugs into, This then plugs into either the Lighting Channel on a Node Pro or Commander Pro using a 4 pin wire. Then Either of those devices plugs into your motherboard via USB header.

The difference between the Node Pro and Commander Pro is the Commander offers fan speed headers and 2 extra usb 2.0 headers. While the Node Pro only have the 2 RGB channel connectors.

You will have to either buy a 3 pack of fans to get the Node and Controller. Or try to find them separate i know you can find the Node Pro but the controller is a hard find from when I have helped people in the past.

I can get them all, but it's so expensive, can't I just get the commander pro?
