First Gaming PC build

Here’s the current build:

1. Budget & Location

I’m in the US, with a budget of about 1.5k

2. Aim

This system is going to be used for playing games like Monster Hunter World, Ark Survival Evolved, Outer Worlds, etc. as well as live streaming at 1080p, 60 FPS

Along with this some light 3D modeling in Inventor, coding and other work purposes.

3. Monitors

I currently use and plan on using 2 monitors, they’re HD ASUS monitors, I’ll find exact resolution later and edit post.

4. Peripherals

Only need to purchase Windows 10(it’s just in the build to show what OS I’ll be running, Ik to just buy the key onlinefor like 10 bucks), already have mouse and keyboard.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Upgrading to a new PC cause my of system is 7+ years old and starting to become outdated. Along with this it’s so old it’s more costly to upgrade it than make a new pc.

You could drop down from 32gb to 16gb, and get 3600mhz while you're at it.

I'd recommend a better GPU. Like a 5700 / 5700XT

I think that mobo is pretty dogshit. I'd recommend a x570 TUF Gaming around that price point.

That case is old and overpriced. You can get something nicer and cheaper.

Don't buy windows 10, buy just a key online for like $10.

Gaming Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x   |  GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 2080 SUPER Advanced (2115Mhz Core | 9251Mhz Memory) |  Motherboard: Asus X570 TUF GAMING-PLUS  |  RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3600MHz 16GB  |  PSU: Corsair RM850x  |  Storage: 1TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro, 250GB Samsung 840 Evo, 500GB Samsung 840 Evo  |  Cooler: Corsair H115i Pro XT  |  Case: Lian Li PC-O11

Peripherals:

Monitor: LG 34GK950F  |  Sound: Sennheiser HD 598  |  Mic: Blue Yeti  |  Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum  |  Mouse: Logitech G502

Laptop:

Asus ROG Zephryus G15

Ryzen 7 4800HS, GTX1660Ti, 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz, 512GB nVME, 144hz

NAS:

QNAP TS-451

6TB Ironwolf Pro

One - stock cooler of 3700x is great!

Two - I can get you windows 10 pro or home for very cheap - like 10$ and it is legit - or you can buy from ebay yourself, I recommend not purchasing it

Three- RX 5700XT IS MUCH BETTER THAN RX 580

Four - Better SSD

Five - Added HDD

Six - Case

Sup, my current PC is at least 7 years old now and it’s begging to crap out now on higher end graphics games especially when trying to live stream them. So I’m wanting to build a new PC for around 1.5k US dollars.

I have keyboard and mouse already and will be running dual monitors as I already do. My goals for this build are to be able to run games like Monster Hunter, Outer Worlds, etc on higher end graphics while also still being able to live stream, along with this it will be used for work like 3D modeling, programming, etc.

This is what I currently have, if anyone knows of anything better for the same price or cheaper than these pieces please let me know, I’m still trying to figure out everything about hardware and what’s best for this price on the market right now.

Thanks!

What resolution are you going to be streaming on?

My custom loop 5000$ PC:

Better cooler, better ssd, better mobo, faster ram.

You don't need 32gb of ram for gaming.

Better gpu, cheaper case with good airflow, cheaper psu but still good.

You can find cheap windows licences on ebay or other key reseller websites.

Overspending unnecessarily in areas that do not improve performance.

For $1,500 you can still get nice hardware but proper budget allocation allows for a much better GPU.
