Which 2070 Super to get?

Hi all, 

 

I am heading up to Microcenter today to return my 5700 XT as I have been having nothing but issues with it.

There are a few options for the 2070 Super at the store and just wondering what your opinions are for which one to get. 

 

ask me about my homelab

on a personal quest convincing the general public to return to the glory that is 12" laptops.

cheap and easy cable management is my fetish.

If you dont need Type C, I'll get the Gigabyte cards, cooling is a little upgrade on top of the standard two slot two fan cards like the Inno Twin and EVGA Black.

Well it all depends how much you want to spend on it. I always was big fan of Asus strix so I would get this one but obviously it’s the most expensive card on your list

Yeah Strix cards are nice, I've had 2 in the past but they aren't necessarily worth the extra price premium, stock performance is likely identical and unless OP is gonna go for a high OC there is no point to spending more, EVGA black is a great card. I have the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black and it has worked flawlessly and actually OC's quite well. And I got it because after having previously bought two more expensive Strix cards I decided the price premium was a waste, it's not like I was cheeping out for a worse card by any means. The only time the Strix card was the better buy was when I got the 980 Ti, but that's because it was such a hot running card, this won't be the issue with the RTX 2070 Super.
