Hey guys :) I am totally a newby, in building a PC.

I know "by watching LTT videos" how to build it.

The question is, what components make sense and work together :) I have made a list "see pic below" of components i want in my build.

Does this combination make sense? Or can I guys recommend something better?

I already have thermal past and windows 10 :)

my budget is 22000kr or 3300$

Build parts look good, I can't really speak on pricing as it's different from the US to Denmark (US pricing isn't really relevant to you).

Have you considered Ryzen? IIRC the Ryzen 5 3600 won't be too much behind the 9700k at that resolution, and might save you a fair bit of money.

I'd strongly consider trying to fit a 1TB SSD in your build.

It'll work but it's not really balanced. 

What do you want to do with the pc? 

 

Some remarks from my side:

Don't get this overpriced case. Get a 50€ case and a 2089S and 9900k instead. I'd also get a cheaper motherboard. Asus prime series or something

3300USD is a hell of a budget. This is what i recommend.

 

1. The case you have is ridiculously expensive at about 300USD. Get a cheaper case, nzxt h510 or something.

2. Have you considered the Ryzen 3700x which performs better than the 9700k in almost all tasks.

3. You can probably fit a 2080 super or even a 2080 ti in your budget.

4. Get a 4TB Hard Drive or something. 500GB of ssd storage is definitely not enough with games easily being over 100gb each nowadays (less than a third of my steam library is installed and its just over 1TB)

5. I don't see a PSU. Don't cheap out on your PSU, get a good one (Corsair RM series or something)

-i'd save for navi23 or nvidia 3000 series coming out 2020

-the CPU doesn't matter as much when you go up in resolution, so I'd save a bit and go for the Ryzen 7 3700X, which also uses less power, produces less heat, has a better upgrade path and is faster in a lot of non-gaming tasks

-144hz doesn't have that big difference compared to 165hz, but is so much cheaper
