What Is The Best Game You Have Ever Played?

MMO: WOW/EVE

 

Those would be my choices for a few genres. Couldn't pick one game personally.

most recent game has to be Hawken, its ftp and looks outstanding

i do find myself going back to runescape though, the graphics are now better than WoW's though and its online and is also freemium based

street rod was that the game where you opened up the newspaper bought cars and swapped around carbs and transmissions on cars then went and raced for pink slips all in 16 bit format? 

 

bioshock infinite is not the best but I can't get that game out of my head. 

I look back fondly at star wars rebellion star wars tie fighter and quest for glory 1 and quest for glory 2

Best plot line i have played has been Psychonauts. Love that game. 

 

I would say the most i have gotten out of a game was Runescape since i had tons of real life friends to play with in that game. It was interesting. I am actually liking the new style they are moving towards with RS 3.0, might start playing again

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (Funcom 2008)

 

Best Gameplay

Homeworld (Relic 1999)

 

Best Asymmetrical Multiplayer

Natural Selection 2 (Unknown Worlds Entertainment 2012)

 

Best Symmetrical Multiplayer

TIE: Battlefield 2 (Dice 2005) and Counter-Strike (Valve 1999)

 

Best Non-player Character

Clementine - The Walking Dead (Telltale Games 2012)

 

Best Role-Playing System

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Bethesda 2001)

 

 

 

But if anyone were to put a gun to my head and demand an 'overall' winner in my book, I guess it's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The soundtrack was in fact so much better than any other video game soundtrack ever created, that that alone was worth 4-5 game purchases. It had it's woes as a game when it launched, but as of now it is among the top 3 MMOs on the market IMO. (For quality) Solid, awesome graphics, no handholding and intelligently designed.

Nothing will ever compete with World Of Warcraft when I was progressing whith a semi-hardcore guild (raiding 4x4hrs per week).  I still play causually, but I do not have the time to dedicate to it anymore.

far cry, or planetside. Far cry for it's graphics, and planetside has a very unique multiplayer aspect to it.
