Laptop for esports title.

I need a laptop that’s for

  • web browsing
  • light programming
  • causal gaming , including most of the esports title : league, over watch , sc2

I have a few requirements I would like to play those esports titles on high details 60 FPS. Plus I want the machine to have good customization options, easy to service myself. My budget is around 800-1000 usd.

I have a few questions I want to ask

  • what kind of GPU I should get?
  • is ryzen CPU’s iGPU good enough for all these things? How does it compare to gtx1650?

Any suggestions or recommendations?

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

weight and battery life is no concern of me I will carry the adapter with me the whole time.

but do bare in mind that this will be my ONLY PC for a very long time.

I will sell my desktop and save some money to get one.

Do you guys recommend me to get the best I can get and pay a bit more to get a high end one? Or ??

any visual preferences?

like is it okay if its a thicc boi or does it need to me small and slick.

13, 15 or 17 inch display?

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

does not have to be small and slick. I am perfectly fine with trading off those things for more performance.

13/15 inch is fine by me,

okay.

i think it's going to be hard to find laptops under 1000$ that can play overwatch on high and above 60fps for very long.

i'd suggest saving up a little longer or at least wait till black friday where a good sale might get you a small gpu and or cpu upgrade.

I see. Do you think I should get a laptop that has a 1660ti just for the longevity of it?? I wont be buying another laptop probably for 5,6 years.

get a 1660 super.

i belive that the super is going to be cheaper than the ti but since it has GDDR6 sdram it should preform very well.

if it's 5-6 of usage a laptop is definitly not something i would suggest since the upgradeability is much more complicated if it's even possible on some.

and at least with my experience and the things i've heard gaming laptops don't last as long as desktops.

but if you want it to last that long you definitly need to sink more money into your system.

i've made my desktop with an AMD Ryzen 2700x and expecting to upgrade once the next ryzen series launches along with the mobo and then upgrade gpu and ram in 4 or 5 years.

so i think it's going to be very hard for you to get 5-6 years out of a laptop (even if you spend more money)

but i hope you find something that can suit you because i don't think i can recommend anything here.

well just the tip to get one with good airflow.

heat is usually the biggest probelm on old laptops so one with great airflow and cooling will be vital

those are clevo rebrands arent they???

here in china a lot of people said Hasee is a crappy brand which is known for almost 0 customer service satisfaction and lots of small issues when it comes to their product.

a lot of people have been recommending me this one: HP omen: https://item.jd.com/100005603834.html#crumb-wrap

I dont know whether Hasee purchase the parts or the whole unit then just slap on a logo.
