Help uninstall minecraft!

I cant figure out how to uninstall mc on windows 8! Anyone help?

go to control panel, uninstall a program, and Minecraft should be there

Minecraft doesn't install so to speak, it makes a directory where it stores data. 

 

Start menu 

%appdata%

Should come up with Roaming, click it.

.minecraft

Select

Click delete

Done!

Delete the minecraft.exe and the content in .minecraft in Appdata?

Show your hidden files under the drive you have the os on. go to app data, then roaming then loook for .minecraft. Delete it. WHABAMO uninstalled so to speak. Minecraft is more like a portable app.

Hold windows key + R and type %appdata% into RUN.

Ugh, windows 8....

goto classic desktop. open up My Computer or a documents window.

click the address bar and type %appdata% then follow the instructions posted by @Joshyy

 

Should come up with Roaming, click it.

Select

Click delete

Done!

Did but in roaming mc isnt there

the address should be 

"C:\Users\...........\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft"

without the quotes and the ..... being your computer's username.

Step 1. hit START+R

Step 2. type in" %appdata% "

Step 3. delete the" .minecraft "folder (if hidden then show hidden files)

Step 4. delete the minecraft file it self [minecraft.exe OR minecraft.jar]

 

If files are hidden then

Step 1. Hit ALT

Step 2. from toolbar choose "Tools"-->"Folder Options"

Step 3. pick View from the tabs

Step 4. Under "Hidden files and folders" pick "show hidden files, folders and drives"

Step 5. done

Step 6. Proceed to Step 666

 

Step 666. Jump in hell
