yeah thats what valve need to do, needs to be accessible from the steam overlay as well.

Well however Steam decided to throw in media for big picture or the SteamOS I'm sure if anyone can do it and do it right it's Steam. While you might not want to listen to music in some games you will probably want to in others. Having a built in media player won't hurt anyone. If Steam can do something with Spotify then it will only make the experience better. Movie streaming is the same too, this will be perfect for those who will use SteamOS.
