Multiple psu's

Leviosaaaaaaaa

So I know about the add2psu, but how does Linus do the power situation with the 15ft of riser cable. My reason for asking is I am having a random shut off issue when overclocking and the cheap option is to buy a second PSU. I will likely split power consumption between the two of them.

Why don't you just buy a bigger psu.

Sounds like you just have a shit PSU. The answer is not to buy another shit PSU. Buy a proper PSU, in the wattage you require.

As said above, if your current PSU can't handle your workload; you need a different PSU.

How Linus turned on the PSU halfway across the room? Likely a 24 pin jumper.

I can't think of any scenario within reason where a second PSU would be a viable option. This issue requires a closer examination.

No one has given any pros or cons to the subject, I'm running 5.0ghz 9900kf, 2080 ti, custom water, 3tb raid 0 and 32g memory on 750w g3 supernova. So all the PSU calculators says it's fine but my system says otherwise

What exactly is your system saying?  Is it just the shutdowns under load?

Your overclock is not stable. Decrease clocks and/or increase voltage.
Adding a 2nd PSU will do absolutely nothing to help you, and will likely just cause more issues.

That's fine power supply wise. See above.

It's not blue screening, and is fine when I reduced my gpu usage. It also happened before I got my 2080ti, I was running 2 1070s in sli. After further research and price evaluation I'm looking at the gskill ripjaw 1250w 80+ plat,
