Help a console pleb (1st PC build) Gaming

As the title suggest, I'm here for guidance from the PC master race. Know little to nothing about PCs so I'm looking for a complete build.

Not looking for anything crazy expensive atm so budget for build is $600 USD. Open to anything and willing to raise budget if better gaming experience is provided.

Peripherals already taken care of.

What games do you intend on playing. Are you looking to play all the newest AAA title games that cone out, or are you trying to play an older game primarily.

Currently playing Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter World, but will also like to play future AAA titles.

This is what I use for my console atm, could I continue using or would I have to upgrade? ASUS VS248H-P 24" Full HD 1920x1080 2ms HDMI DVI VGA Back-lit LED Monitor

It's a decent monitor and will work with a PC as well(It is a computer monitor), however your budget is pretty constrictive especially for new and upcoming AAA titles. You can get a good starter PC but either a larger budget or upgrades are going to be needed depending on your desired graphical quality and frame rates.

You could do something like this, it's a great starter and can be upgraded easily. And should be able to do most games including AAAs at around 60fps on custom settings at 1080p.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case with my small budget. For the time being this should be fine as I want to ease myself into it and slowly learn how a PC works etc. Lets say I can let loose another $100, what other improvements can be made? Also, much thanks.
