Ramdom crashes/bluescreens

Hi I keep getting the errors:

DPC_WATCHDOG VIOLATIONS/SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTIONS

 

I have installed windows on both SSD and HDD and both are "healthy" and was installed from a USB STICK. (I have reinstalled windows many times) so don't think any drivers need updating nor is it malicious software. 

I have tested other RAM and the issue still persists.

The graphics card is fine.

Could it be the CPU? - it has failed the intel diagnostic test (for prime number and math)

system specs:

 

2*8gb ram ddr4

gtx 1070 (can't remember exact spec)

i7 7700k
