How do you transfer Windows 10 License from an already installed SSD to another Bigger SSD if you are using the same computer?

Palaiologos XII

Anyone know the steps or links that I can look?

My current SSD that has a Windows 10 Pro license installed is only 120GB and currently have only 36Gb of free space left. I am getting a SSD that is 480Gb.

You don't do anything. The licence is connected to your motherboard.

Or rather, it could be registered to your microsoft account- so if that's the case you just sign back into your ms account when/if you reinstall

Just be sure you are signed into the same microsoft account.

Either way new keys are only $5 on ebay and you don't even need a key to use or install windows 10.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
