What CPU cooler should i get?

D15 or DRP4 are great coolers, but large. If you need smaller, I'd say U12S.

 

But- first pc with a 6700k? Are you getting a wack deal on it or something?

why start from a 6700k in 2019? Even 9600k makes more sense.

 

As for cooler, a NH-U14S or Dark Rock 4 will do because it's only a quad core. 9600k btw is fine with the same bunch of coolers.

A family member is upgrading im getting the I7 6700k and a 1070 GPU and a Z170A Gaming M7 motherboard
