Posted September 13, 2019 The RX 5700 XT is a great deal and handles 1440p very well. I have one and I use it with a 1080p display but I also use it with an Oculus Rift S that has a 1440p 80hz display and I haven't had any performance issues with it. Posted September 13, 2019 used 980TI? if you can even find any, havent seen any on my local market for months now I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays... nothing, it just sits there collecting dust... Posted September 13, 2019 I'll recommend a used Vega 56 / GTX 1070 / 1070Ti / 980Ti. All of the above GPUs will be fine for 1440p. If you can spend a bit more, then I'll recommend a 5700xt.
