Is IIS safe to use? Like I won't get hacked or anything right?

If its dangerous can i do anything to make it safer for me?

(using http)

That dosen't really answer my question, like is iis safe to use publicly? Like putting your iis link online and stuff

Additionally, if this is a dedicated webserver then make sure the firewall is configured to only allow ports 80 and 443 inbound.
