Arctic freezer 34 esports duo Vs Gelid phantom

Owens93

Hi, I recently bought a ryzen 3600 and I'm not happy with the stealth cooler so I've decided to buy a budget aftermarket cooler.

I've almost settled on the arctic 34 eSports duo for £30, but I was also looking at the Gelid phantom for £28 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it as I can't find many reviews.

I've also been looking at the gammaxx GT RGB for £23 if that's any good.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The Gelid Phantom looks like a great cooler, the other two look pretty standard. I can't seem to find the Gelid in the US anywhere other than QuietPC.com.

I found that post comparing it to a few other coolers, if it can beat a Noctua NH-U12S then I'd say it's probably the best of the bunch. Under 30 euros sounds like a great price for that performance.

arctic lists it as hitting 65c at at 28db, so fairly similar to the phantom

i suggest the gelid phantom, its pretty much the same but slightly cheaper, its a nice little dual tower

Temps can't just be directly compared from different tests. Factors including case airflow (if there's a case) and ambient temp differences easily skew results.

The Gelid Phantom is better. At worst, it at least ties with the NH-U12S or Mugen 5 whereas the Freezer 34 eSports Duo is usually seen lagging behind said coolers.

The Gammaxx GT cools even worse but all 3 are still upgrades from the stock cooler.
