I've tested some programs and GoodSync was the one that is working fine for me, there's probably best options like using rsync (that isn't so intuitive on windows).

I discovered there is a paid version only yesterday after I saw a message that I had to pay if I wanted to do more than 3 jobs.

FreeFileSync is (duh!) free. I've been using it for years to backup my data drives. It is capable of scheduling backups (although I don't recommend scheduled backups since it requires the backup drive or server to be connected to the computer and powered up at all times).

As long as anyone is oppressed, no one will be safe and free.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!

FIle or image backups?

URbackup works better well for client backups.

Trying to backup files and maybe a image down the road.

Veeam has a lot of docs on their site, I recommend you check them out and stick with that product.

Define a datastore (repository), make a job, add computers to that job. ezpz.

Intel 11700K - Gigabyte 3080 Ti- Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Pro - Sabrent Rocket NVME - Corsair 16GB DDR4

Depending on what OS you are using on your clients rsync + some kind of scheduling (cron, systemD, etc) might be a good option. That's only for Unix/Unix-likes afaik though.

Okay thanks I'll give it another go. Also how well does it do with physical computers/servers?
