Using a really old antistatic bag ?

So my friend has a problem with his pc and we don't know what is the problem, so i'm gonna take my graphics card to troubleshoot his pc... and i only have a really old antistatic bag that was in a really  old box for a motherboard, is it dangerous to use it ?

You're fine without the bag, or the box.  I've transported cards on the passenger seat bare back before.  

 

They're not all that fragile.

the bag is not as important as not hut it or bend it by sitting over it

 

you put a gpu over a backapck, then you forget that gpu is on the backpack, lol, dont ask me more

I’ve shipped GPUs to people without antistatic bags and they worked just fine

 

Not ideal but it was OK that time.

 

I dont think the bags have a “use by” date, happy to be corrected if they do!
