Fans for cooler system

Daniel Smith

Hey guys so I’m rocking a 3900xt and a 5700xt. I’ve got some extra budget left for adding case fans to make the system cooler and better. Can anyone recommend some high quality fans that will keep my system cooler?? Don’t have to much left over so don’t want to spend to much, trying to keep cost down. Don’t care about aesthetics just performance

Noctua fans are pretty good, seeing as you don't really care about aesthetics

What case, cooler, and fans are you current using? Temps?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

You can test for cpu and gpu load temps with software like OCCT and Unigine Valley.

You have enough for basic airflow. Unless you have issues with temps, you don't need more. Though better CPU cooler will help with OCing, your budget won't be able to get you good enough upgrade to be worth it.

So test out those temps and will see if it's needed to do something now or wait a little for bigger upgrade maybe year from now.

Shopping online and located in the uk. Have a budget of around 50 left

You can move the front case fan to the top for exhaust and add a pair of SW3's at the side panel for intake: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/x9cMnQ/be-quiet-bl065-595-cfm-140mm-fan-bl065

If you want even a bit more airflow and the bottom of the case isn't sitting on carpet otherwise restricted, you can add another fan at the bottom for intake as well. Make sure that the psu isn't too long and the cables aren't blocking the fan mount as well.
