would a ryzen 5 2600 bottleneck a rtx 2060 super?

i currently have a ryzen 5 2600 and a 1060 im looking to upgrade and i think the 2060 super would be perfect but would it be bottlenecked by the cpu?

If you are just shooting for 1080p 60 fps then the 2060 super is kinda overkill.

A GTX 1060 3GB is still fairly okay for 1080p60fps

 

The RTX 2060 Super should be capable of ultra settings most games at 1080p60fps, you do get there but gotta ask yourself if it's really worth it... I'd only bother if went to 1440p high refresh and got like a 5700XT at least.

 

Now about the R5 2600... overclock it to 4ghz and make sure you have your memory at least 2933mhz with acceptable timings and you should 60fps every game still, if not only by the most CPU intensive from this and the past year title... it's perfectly adequate.

If you're willin to wait, then I'd wait for the next generation of cards, since it's not necessary w/your current setup.  If you're hellbent on upgradin, then a RTX 2060 Super will be overkill for what you're attemptin to achieve, unless you want to get Ultra Graphics at 144/240 FPS; then it'd be worth it, but your lower clockspeeds of the R5 2600 will hold you back.

 

2-3 graphic card generations are usually the best time to upgrade, instead of the one that just game out.  You can always go w/the philosophy:  pay more now, save later.  You can pay more for an upgrade, which'll give you instantly better performance, while bein far more future resistant, than buyin a card each generation, which's a waste of money.  Your budget obviously is relevant, but it'll be far more fun instantly, then down the road while costin less.

If 1080p gaming with Ryzen 5 2600 @3.6GHz at gaming scenario and 2666 8x2 RAM will bottleneck? because already tried with that setup. So many unstable framerate and frametime.
