Who would redirect it?

Someone who bought the NCIX domain name, possibly Amazon themselves

Is it not public information to view who bought the domain name?

Not necessarily, in this case it appears to be hidden at least according to the record at cira.ca

NCIX is no more and have liquidated everything that's left in an auction. Alternatives are Memory Express and Canada Computers that I'm aware of.

Read the post. If you go to ncix.com, it'll redirect you to the Amazon computer section.

My apologies; since NCIX bankruptcy and shutdown, I haven't visited ncix.ca/.com (for that matter). Regardless, Its good to know that it redirects to amazon. When it comes amazon, it's best to read the reviews before you buy anything PC related as quality on there can be mixed.

The discussion is not from where to buy computer components. we talking about the domain ncix.ca why amazon specially PC components shows instead.

ncix.com is a dead link.

ncix.ca redirects.  It looks like ncix.ca is a fairly new domain.

This is such a good idea. 20 years down the road I'll do the same with LTT.
