So due to some ''Surcomstances'' I'm forced to use this For a week or so :

It can't even run youtube at 720P 

It freezes every hour for like 5 mins for some reason.

The HDD is slow as fuck 20MB Read/Write

Half of the screen is a little brighetr than the other half (this is really annoying!)

It's a laptop

It's loud

The keyboard is one of the most awful ones ever!

I just hate my life now! ( IKR first world problems...)

 

It's just sooooooooooo slow.

 

I'm sorry for this rant but let's make it a discussion topic . What's the slowest PC you ever used. For me it's kinda this one TBH , It's slower than my Pentium III Rig honestly...

My Grandma's old Gateway PC with a Pentium 4, about 512mb of ram, and Windows XP. It was reallllly slow. Luckily I built her a new PC which i am typing from right now :)

That old pc is probably faster than this piece of crap. It's just SO SLOW! Even ubuntu runs slow , come on,....

A blackfriday HP netbook I bought for 167$! 

 

It felt like a toy and the integrated circuit had two cores and was really slow.

I'm sorry for this rant but let's make it a discussion topic . What's the slowest PC you ever used. For me it's kinda this one TBH , It's slower than my Pentium III Rig honestly...

Re-install windows if you can/are allowed. (If you don't have a license just install it without a key, the trial is 30 days)

I use P4s and Dual cores all the time and it isn't a big deal.

What kind of computer can't run ubuntu? Oh wait, yours can't. I feel bad for you hopefully you will get your pc back (Not sure if ur desktop was broken or you got punished)

Crappiest would have to be my first laptop. Extremely slow Pentium 1, really tiny HDD, 5 minute battery, Windows 95. No internet. Slowest would be my grandmas computer. Old P4 system with XP and a bunch of crap like Norton.

 

My netbook is the slowest that I actually use. 1.6GHz Atom, 1GB RAM, etc. It can barely play 320p YouTube.. It does have a 6-7 hour battery life though. (Should be even better now since I undervolted the CPU by like .3 volts.) It just happens to have a chipset and a GMA 3150 that aren't overclockable like other netbooks are. I tried XP on it and gave up after it forked up the 7 install. I'll have to do it again sometime or stick Ubuntu on it.

When I was rocking the Newly released Athlon 955, I got handed this Pentium.....Laptop

 

Pentium 233 Laptop, with Windows 95, 64Mb Ram, 36GB HDD

Put varied Linux distro's on there, ended up putting W7 on it and had a good chuckle, then back to W98 for classic games.

Such Beast, Many Powers, one of those powers were to be this machine has no performance in any task given.

 

Still have that laptop somewhere collecting dust... probably behind my newer but old bluewaffle maker, which probably has more processing power.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Old desktop with 2500K And GTX 680 is in other county , so unaccable ATM.

Other ''Good'' laptop ( Core i5 . 8GB Ram , Radeon 6750 etc.) Broke so it's off to acer for repair. ( Ikr acer... the S7 is nice tho.)

Tablet is just awefull for productivity

Phone is .. Well a phone so...

This is like the slowness of a netbook. Lol the netbook days , i really thought those were going to be the future for some reason ... But than apple came along with the iPad and Intel with ultrabooks etc. And netbook died :P

Slowest PC i've ever used? It's currently my retro gaming machine. 

Has a CPU max Frequency of 233Mhz-450Mhz, it's a Pentium II processor

Has 64MB of RAM

Runs windows 98.

has a 3GB HDD.

 

I used this computer until 2010. I don't want to hear any complaining.

My aunt uses a samsung netbook with an old I believe single core atom processor as her main computer and she uses it for 3-4 hours a day! That thing has a disgusting and small screen, a horrible keyboard, and it is infuriatingly slow. I keep telling her to buy a new computer, but she still hasn't bought one and she's had that slow POS for 3 years now! Worst part is, it's not like she doesn't have the money to buy a better one, she just spent 4000 mother tricking US dollars on a sofa and bought a 1500$ plasma! 

 

It makes me enraged just thinking about using it.

I have two netbooks, a 1.6 single core with hyperthreading and a 1.66 dual core with hyperthreading. both with W7, 2Gb Ram, onboard graphics.

If you can't run youtube, that's a personal problem. Netbooks work fine.

I'm sorry you have such a rough life, not getting to use the best computer that is possible. How in the world do you make it every day with that kind of struggle? Sometimes our dealt hands are just too much in life, maybe one day things will improve for you. :unsure:
