Building a PC to host game servers and I need some help with Specs

I am building a PC to host game servers for my friends. I have a 6 core AMD FX processor, AM3 motherboard, and 8gb ddr3 1866 MHz in dual channel. the servers are for TF2 and CSGO. what GPU should I use if I need one?

I don't think that you need a GPU for that kind of workload.

What are these for?

ok thanks for the information but I still need to buy a cheap GPU because the CPU does not integrated graphics.

Since you're looking for something basic, grab the cheapest thing possible from eBay, it's probably a GT 710 or something along those lines.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I found a GTX 650 for $28 so I think I will go with that
