Padding Around Avatars

Just wondering why there needs to be so much padding around the avatars in posts? It makes the layout of a page look really weird, in my opinion. Comparing this to normal phpBB3 or the previous board.

What do you mean exactly? As in space between the avatar and the left border for the post itself?

Everything looks great imo. Maybe he means that there isn't a visible divider between the post and the Avatar? Not sure.

Yes, the padding as in the space between the left of the span to the avatar. It just seems SUPER wide...

I think that it looks nice and normal. Nothing two odd about it. It's normal on most forums.
