Laptop - Buy now or wait for Ryzen APUs?

So I'm looking for a rather cheap laptop (around 400-500 euro) and i'm considering waiting for the new generation of mobile Ryzen chips, but am not sure if I should just get an intel now. Not asking for much, but decent keyboard and IO is a must.

what do you do with it? Do you need performance?

Mostly office work related stuf like web browsing and word, excel etc. So performance is not the aim.

Nah. You'll be waiting quite a bit for laptops for moderate gain for your usage.

I once gave Luke and Linus pizza.

@blue_mug97 you could have a look at those chrome books. Acer, asus, HP all have them. (And more)
