Which of these PSUs cannot handle an undervolted vega 56?

hello_there_123

well with what CPU? all of those should be able to take a 56 really

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

None of them, they are all capable of powering a Vega 56, however -

I have or have had in the past the RMX and TXM.  Both of them are quality units, the RMX the best of them.

The CX is not as good as the TXM or RXM.  I haven't used or seen the Whisper.

i think those should all be fine, i dont know the quality of the whisper unit off the top of my head and the CX isnt bad but not great, the other two should be good units

None of them, they will all be able to handle it. You may experience some coil whine with the CX (and possibly the TXM) but that's the only issue you will encounter.

Because of the transients of Vega, the only one I wouldn't put it on is the CX. However, if you did use the CX with Vega, I wouldn't necessarily expect it to go up in flames.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

whisper m 550

rmx 550

txm 550

all of them.

Whisper M might need CPU and 1 PCIe switched.
