My guess for R3/5 cpus

R3 : 3300 6cores / 6 threads? 

R5 : 3500 6cores / 12 threads?

Cannot really compare anything to anything between brands and companies. They cheat/fake/scam on advertising and naming schemes. If you want to know if a car is "faster" you don't look at the engine size or the number of valves. You look at the raw performance numbers (0-60 or top speed).

 

Same here. Wait for benchmarks and pricing.

 

PS, same with threads in a CPU. AMD is better now, but was a little tricky in the past (shared registers or something hitting performance) and Intel have had 2 core i7s and 4 core i3s for a LONG time now, to confuse things.

Hahahahaha. Yeah, problem is, it may be (close AFAIK) that AMD has both better core count and better IPC and clocks... and price. XD

Not in the consumer space, maybe if you compare threadripper to certain xeon chips yes.
