Corsair K65 Wrist Rest Removal

I have a Corsair K65 with the wrist rest. (Came preinstalled) I know the K70 came with it off and you can remove it. I was just wondering if you can remove the K65 wrist rest and how you would do that?

From what I can see in K65 reviews, it usually comes brand new with the wrist rest not attached - indicating it can be removed.

I only have experience with Corsair keyboards in the form of the K70 and K95 and on those keyboards you had to kind of pull the wrist rest and it would unattach.

Wrist rest is removable on the K65.  There should be two sets of clips on the back that you can pinch to remove like the in the photo below.  If yours is different, upload a pic for us to take a look at.
