There is no straight conversion, performance varies a lot per game being honest but usually the closest is either the GTX 1080 ~ RTX 2070.

Vega 64 is somewhere between the 2070 and 2080. It depends on game optimization, versions of the card in question.

 

One thing to remember, is that Vega has a lot of untapped potential in terms of performance. All benchmarks are done at stock settings. When undervolted and overclocked it more solidly combats the 2080. By comparison, Turing is more or less binned at its limits. There is very little room for meaningful overclocking without shunt modding or 3rd party vBIOS'.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

What it sounds like, really. Lowering the core voltage in order to reduce heat output.

 

This can be done in MSI Afterburner, and any other GPU oc'ing software.

just asking i was playing yesterday and my gpu temp max out around 70-75c and cpu was 70c and my case was burning to touch and it gave a wierd smell is that normal ?

Overclocking without the overclocking part. Basically to use less core voltage at the same core clock.

Case airflow problem? Not surprising for new parts to smell a bit

It's producing a smell I would look for cord casings or loose bits touching stuff they shouldn't be.

Other than that, if air is moving through the case, you're fine. 

i think the smell was the actual heat of the air tbh
