Anyone else think the 900D is ugly?

Its just a bigger version of the r4 and it dosent even look that good, or is that just me?

I don't think it looks that bad. It's a little too big for me but I don't think the design is bad.

I like it and i think it's functional, but there is definetely better looking cases out there.

I think it's good but I'd prefer it if the window didn't extend over the drive cages.

Personally I love the Obsidian series and can't stand cases like HAF 932, the Phantom series or the Graphite series from Corsair. Just looks so ugly to me

Well it's not ugly if you can make it nice looking with components, custom loop and cables and stuff like that. I do prefer the 750D though.

thats the thing though most 990d builds that i see are just empty cases if your going to do something with the case just get a r4 or something

The only thing that are similare to the R4 is the black colour? Doesn't look anything like it.

I think it's too big, but that it CAN look good, however it can easily be really ugly aswell.

rads take up ALLOT of space if you going to be cooling all your parts look at the over kill video linus did there wasnt much space left in their in the end

I know but if you 'just' watercool it is isn't taking up THAT much space tho.. and (almost) no one is going to build that

I don't find it ugly, I just find it way too....plain.

The best one of that series is the Micro ATX one, it looks really good, then the full tower 900d, which has alright looks and then the Mini ITX one; which is butt ugly.

It is indeed ugly but it's still the best looking full-tower

This is like saying cars are basically boxes with wheels.  Why not just put wheels on a box and drive it?

 

Corsair is making some really nice enthusiast cases...don't bust their balls for it.  We as a community would be yelling at them for not producing it if all they made were mid-towers.
