the CPU will not bottleneck a mother board so you're fine with either mobo's

Is the Intel Core i7-9700k just right for the ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO or a just under power for the motherboard and would just prefer the  ROG Strix Z390-E

This gen go Gigabyte Aorus. Aorus Elite and up. As you can see in my computer specs I am a Maximus Hero fanboy but it is not their time.
