I don't know how to solve this math problem help!!!

hello_there_123

You have to use a couple trig identities, SOSMATH has an excellent reference you can use.

Using two trig identities, you can turn it into a quadratic form: a*sin2(x) + b*sin(x) + c = 0

You can solve that for for sin(x), and from there you can directly get x.

8 tan x = 3 cos x, solve for x

tan x = sinx / cosx;

sinx = 1- cosx

then calculator time

oops for got the sq ~~lol

sin^2 (x) = 1 - cos^2 (x)

then solve     8/3 sin (x) = cos^2 (x)
