I am looking for an unlocked mid-range phone

I was just wondering what you guys would recommend. I live in europe and want to buy an unlocked phone costing up to CHF 400 (roughly $400 or €360). 

 

What would you recommend?

I would highly recommend the Pocophone F1. It has SD845

I personally would go for the Moto Z Play cuz it was released in 2016 and (with exception to the Mi Max 2 and Mate 20) it still beats out all other smartphones in battery life:

note: I did not include higher-performing or newer versions or those shown above either due to poor professional/user reviews or inferior battery life.

 

I would throw-in a screen protector, a kickstand case, and a Moto Power Pack. It essentially packs your Z Play with 60% more battery life ~ up to a grand total of 22hrs.

Tip #1: do not get the Z2 Play -- it performs marginally better than the original Z Play and gets worst battery life.

Tip #2: Want great battery life? Get a Moto/Samsung mid-range, a Mate 10 Pro, a Mate 20, a Galaxy S7/S8 Active, or an iPhone XR.

Tip #4: Want the best performance? Get whatever flagship you want (especially those listed in the chart). Or whichever phone model has the features you like the best. 

Tip #3: The Huawei's "Honor" lineup & Xiaomi phones do not support US "LTE" data bands (Huawei "Mate" phones support all US frequencies).
