Its a 3.5Ghz quad core that doesnt even come close to modern dual cores.

You best bet will be looking at used business PC's, if you cant afford something like a 2200g.

Otherwise the PC should handle games from like 2011 ok

If you do a comparison on Gold Pentium/Athlon 2XX most of the time they win. For some specific cases only that x4 845 have more fps

CPU frequency and core-count is only like 1/4 of the story for CPU performance.

It's like looking at a car, and saying....yep is has 4 wheels, gotta be fast.

Socket FM2+ is an old and dead platform (IMO, MORE dead than socket AM3+).

The newer AMD 2200G, CPU performance-wise, would outperform that Athlon X4 845.

You could swap the PSU from build 2 into build 1 and save a little

I think people keep recommending the 2200G because it's the best in your budget...

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

You don't even need a GPU with a 2200g or 2400g. Built my step daughter a pc with a 2200g and that shit plays Apex.
