My main Question i have is that why is everybody so excited for titanfall to me it looks like just another shooter. To me it looks like hawken but that is just me

because, jet packs, giant robots, and wall jumping, oh my

Plus Hawken is fast for a Mech Game, this is even faster.

plus everything is better with jet packs, have to walk to the store screw that shit jet pack to the store.

it looks like a proper competitive shooter, and one that properly does have story elements in the multiplayer, last game that I thought did this right was Killzone: 3 which I LOVED. Plus the gameplay seems extremely fluid and polished, with lots of depth to the gameplay.

Because its made by Respawn Entertainment (the guys behind Cod 4) and also because everyone that plays it says it's great. I'm probably going to buy it because it looks fun and I actually liked Call of Duty for a while until Modern Warfare 3 happened. Looks promising.

If we see the same fluid gameplay...it could be great

CoD4 was terrible? xD It showed the beginning of the end :P The only thing I like about Titanfall is that it looks fluid. All the other mechanics make me facepalm about it.

Is that a question or a statement? Because I never said it was terrible and if it's a statement then I think it was a pretty good game. Heck, I even enjoyed MW2 a lot and think that it was a good game with a pretty nasty flaw (noob tubes), but that's just my personal opinion.

Probably because it wasn't an unbalanced, garbage fire of a game like Modern Warfare 2 and 3 turned into. I too consider it the last good Call of Duty game. After Modern Warfare 2 I was done with the series. But to each their own when it comes to game preferences.

Youtube is blocking ALL Titanfall Alpha video's, if not instantly, within a short time of hours.

Hence, Dailymotion.

Agreed on the quality but......you couldn't watch it in a window like everyone else does in that situation?

your forgetting its running on source, so it should play smooth and have nice netcode

 

BTW that daily motion link has 720P so its not that bad

I know its an unpopular opinion but I'm excited for it on Xbox more than PC as most of my friends play on console and I love the couch experience when playing with friends. I'm just iffy on the low player count.

Low player count doesnt seem all that bad... as long as the bots are not totally stupid.

more like when modern warfare 2 happened, that game was full of bugs, horrible game play, bad spawns and just a shit game and made the call of duty series something that no one in their right mind can take seriously any more

To be fair, West and Zampella started having legal trouble with Activision around MW2's launch, so that could be a reason why they didn't fix a lot of stuff. I rather enjoyed the gameplay feel of MW2 but I do agree that it had some issues that needed to be fixed (op guns, infinite noob tubes, etc.).

every other lobby being a hack lobby, javelin glitch, map glitches, I could go on and on, mw2 launch on x box was the worst thing I've experienced in my life and it stayed that way after launch for months lol
