RX 580 Doom Crashes on vulkan

I tried installing vulkan manually too but ended up fixing it by installing another version of DOOM, turns out there is a version that gives you two quick access icons on the desktop, one for vulkan one for openGL.

I have the latest drivers but as soon as I change the game to vulkan it crashes, what could I do?

I would make sure that you are on 19.5.1:

Fixed issue in release notes:

 

  • DOOM™ may experience an application hang during launch on AMD XConnect™ Technology system configurations.

I would recommend doing a clean install of it as well.
