Can I put 2 different GPU's in one computer?

please don't judge me I'm new to pc's and stuff

you can. however, they just have to run on their own. they can function individually. Like a gtx 1070 and a gtx 1050ti can be in the same computer tower. However, they just would run individual tasks.

Some of the advantageous use cases:

A gaming GPU for good frames and a Quadro for renders (but only if you're made of money)

An Nvidia card for Cuda acceleration and AMD for whatever else

Phys-X just kidding lol

AMD's wider accepted boundaries on crossfire capabilities

DX12 tricks that can actually leverage 2 different cards.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

However, honestly, I would never recommend to use two different cards.

like maybe in both ways like dual gtx 1060 

or

1060 with rx580(im a bit curious will it work or not)

Honestly for the price of both cards and a psu with enough watts to run both,You could spend the same money and get a single gpu that is faster.Gaming with two gpus can be good and bad.Not all games support it so the 2nd gpu will run at idle.And thats if it works right sometimes it can be picky and give you problems.And if it does work both cards won't run 100% either.This is why most of us preach buy the fastest single card you can afford.
