So i have i5 6500 and i am thinking of upgrading my 1050ti to rx 580 or 1660ti..i just want solid 60fps at 1080p high or ultra settings..so which card should i buy? Used rx 580 is about 100 dollars cheaper here..also it should be future proof

580 should be solid 60fps on high / ultra.

AMD will soon release navi, i say you buy 580 now and swap to navi if its better than 1660.

For future proof, i think 1660 is better than 580.

Get a 580 and for the $100 upgrade your CPU to a i7.

1660ti is a lot faster and that 100$ difference comparing new 1660ti and used rx580 is just ridiculous. It should be more than that while both cards are new.

If you want it to be usable for a longer period of time definitely go the 1660ti route. 580 performs more or less the same as the 1060 while the 1660ti is around 1070 levels of performance.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

The RX is slower and is not nearly as new. Even new the RX 580 is around 80-100 dollars cheaper, used its about 60 less. If you have the money the 1660ti is a much better choice and is definitely more future proof. As good as the RX is it is for the price, Whipping the low-end GTX, it still is a little old and on the lower end.

Home Base : Ryzen 5 2400G - ASROCK HDV R4.0 B450M -  Corsair Vengance Pro RGB 2x8GB @3200Mhz - Sapphire Pulse RX 5700XT - WB Black (2018) 500GB NVME SSD - 250GB WD (P.O.S.) Dude I got mine for mine for 120 of amazon bucks legit. It performs more or less the same as the 1060 so like if you wanna a super cheap card with a shit ton of performance go with the 580 but i'd if you wanna spend a a couple hundred more I'd get the 2060 instead of the 1660ti. its just way more future proof.
