Is there information on Floatplanes infrastructure?

jogo123

I am really happy with the way Floatplane is going, I think it is a great idea and what they are doing with it.

However, I am really interested in the networking and server setup they are using as I watched Luke's livestream Q/A for Floatplane. He mentioned that they specifically avoided AWS because of the costs etc.

I am wondering if there are any posts about this, detailing their tech stack and server structure? I think it would be interesting to see how they've decided to tackle this and maybe useful for others like myself who run small startups.

If they aren't using a cloud provider they would've just done colocation for the hosting/encoding and I can see they use Cloudflare so they'd probably just use the Cloudflare CDN for delivering content.

Nothing specific. I imagine that you can get some idea from job postings. Those detail what kind of expertise they are looking for.
