Is it normal the pc to beep one time ?

Just changed my motherboard but noticed the pc beeps after 3 seconds when i press the power button.Is my first pc which i build so i am not sure if it is normal.I removed graphic card and ram and put them again but no difference.

Sometimes there is a sound option in the bios where you can turn it of. If everything else is working it is probably a feature from your motherboard

So you changed the X470 UG? Which board did u take?

If everything else works as expected, it is fine.

 

Some mobos have a built in transducer for making a noise. In the old days when a speaker or buzzer was commonly included in the case, it could be connected to the mobo header and a single beep was normal when powering up. If there was some problem, there can be other beep patterns.

Well, you can use @Bios to update the bios this time. XD

 

To be blunt, I don't remember if my board does that sound. I'll check when I get home.

Just noticed my cpu temperature is junping from 38 to 47 50 ,do you habmve idea why is that?

47 °C is nothing to worry about. But you could check your fan curve settings. Maybe it is in silent mode.

 

If you are below 80 °C under high load there is nothing to worry about at all.

And I wanted to ask which thermal paste you used. I guess you didn't, you just took the heatsink off, CPU out, the mobo out of the case, put the new mobo, put the CPU and slap the cooler on top without changing the paste.

Nah i removed cpu and heatsink, removed the thermal paste and then applied again arctic mx-4 thermal paste.

Yes but i am worried about this spikes,from 38 to 50 sometimes.I will check the settings .Thanks

Spikes under load are normal. If you for example start a program the cpu load goes up, wattage goes up and Temps go up in a matter of seconds. If the fan kicks in or the load decreases the Temps go down usually as fast as they go up.

But i can hear louder sound when temp goes up
