Yea, I plugged 2 HDMI cables each to one monitor. Out I'm getting input on only one at a time. One is plugged from GPU to Main monitor

And other from Mobo to Second monitor.

Do I compromise Quality on DVI?

I wanna use my 27" BenQ as my main monitor.

And that has the DVI

Other one has only VGA and HDMI

Why am I unable to Run 2 HDMI?

I heard from a friend that Mobo HDMI won't work, cuz that uses discreet graphics. And AMD has none

Plug all into your GPU.

Get a HDMI to DVI / VGA (cheap) plug that into the DVI / VGA only monitor.

Get a DP to HDMI to your HDMI only monitor.

In fact i'm using it right now.

DP-HDMI = HDMI (main) monitor

DVI - DVI = Old DVI monitor

HDMI-HDMI = TV

GPU - RX580

Do converters cause extra delay or reduced picture quality?

Also, will HDMI to DVI carry audio?

Cuz DVI and HDMI have same picture quality but no audio in DVI

I am returning The DP cable and placing an order for DVI cable

I'll plug in HDMI in 23" Samsung, and

DVI on the 27" BenQ and will join an auxilary cable audio.

That i do not know, since i'm max out only 60fps.

At 60fps i think DVI should manage to work as well as DP.

If you bump up the resolution and frame rate, you need more bandwidth, so a pure DP or HDMI 2.0 should deliver.

Check diagram below for compability:

Get a DVI-D / DVI-I to hdmi not DVI-A (digital vs analog) converter.

DVI-I (dual link) is the most usable, get it if possible

"The Dual-Link connectors utilize all 24 pins which allow for higher bandwidth. As such, the Dual-Link DVI can deliver resolutions up to 2560×1600 at 60Hz or 1920×1080 at 144Hz while the Single-Link DVI maxes out at 1920×1200 at 60Hz."

what is a dvi d cable
